How “Muna Cakes” was born?!

It all goes back to my childhood in the 1990s where I watched curiously how my grandmother with the whole family was remarkably busy making confectioneries, sweet treats, and candies for big wedding ceremonies. They were well known in the town. I always had access to try first-hand, freshly made sweet treats and candies  with my grandma who inspired me to have a sweet bond for baking.

Years later, although I went to university after finishing school my interest in baking never fade away. So, I decided to take a professional course on cake baking and started to bake for my family. When I had my first child and being at home most of the time caring for my new born I started  seriously think of baking for others and my husband was incredibly supportive in this.

The year 2011 was the turning point when I took a professional sugar flower course from the world-renowned sugar flower artist Alan Dunn! It was a great experience for sure!

Nowadays Muna Cakes has become widely recognized and well known in Essex and London specializing in creating beautiful and delicious wedding cakes, birthday cakes, cupcakes, and sweet treats for our lovely clients. We provide a professional personalised service for all occasions.

We are immensely proud of our service that we make not only stunning cakes but also bake them delicious! We can also say proudly our cakes are well known among our clients with their luxury and yummy taste!

We have a Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety for catering as well as a food Allergen Awareness certificates. We are also registered with our local council as a bakery business!
